Some reasons I'm taking this class
In addition to the obvious magnetism that a class with "wine" in the title exerts on a helpless business school student (not to mention the promised consumption of said wine), I had the chance to speak with Jeffrey about his experience last year. He already mentioned this yesterday, but there can be no better endorsement than when Jeffrey states that a class is far and away the best he has taken at Stanford. Mr. Lee's persuasive eloquence aside, a few other reasons that drew me to the class include: understanding how to properly taste wine (as a member of Wine Circle, I know embarrassingly little); developing a deeper appreciation for the business side (production, distribution, marketing, etc.); and learning more about what innovations are ahead for the industry.
